Dear Ning members
I have a quick update for you on accreditation progress for the College of Education proposed Doctor of Education. The doctoral proposal has gone for a first reading to the Graduate Council and was supported well. Then the proposal was referred to the Doctoral Review Committee where there was unanimous endorsement of the Initial Justification Proposal.

Sorry I have been offline in terms of Ning updates but things have been hectic here at COE UAA. The current demand was National Accreditation for our degrees. Very important and also time consuming.

On the doctoral front, a Doctoral Review Committee has been established at UAA to review new proposals. There are currently three in the works - all professional doctorates. One is in Program Management, another in Nursing, and, of course, ours in Education.
